2024 Year-End Campaign
& Solar Initiative

Having successfully completed a $3.7 million capital campaign and facility renovation in 2022, we are now embarking on our next facility project that will ensure the long-term stability of LBC’s operations. Your financial gift will help LBC secure financing to install 500 solar panels on our facility in 2025. Over the 25-year life span of the system, each $200 solar panel saves the equivalent of 9,321 car miles driven, 8,102 lbs. of C02 emissions and $980 in utility costs, yielding a total lifetime impact of:

• 4,615,500 car miles saved

• 4,051,000 lbs. CO2 avoided

• $490,000 in utility costs saved

 

Your investment in LBC today will unlock this impact, and each $200 contribution will be acknowledged via one solar panel sponsorship on LBC’s website and at our facility. Further, this example of energy resilience will provide our local community direct access to education and knowledge about renewable energy systems.
